You’re the best
And nothing’s ever gonna
Bring you down
A big part of me is saying no. If they do get together, it won’t be while the show is going on. Both of them are adamant about dating co-stars and if they did get together in real life, it could disturb the chemistry that they have on-screen. (although I beg to differ. Prime examples are Stephen Moyer/Anna Paquin and Michael C.Hall/Jennifer Carpenter)
They both say they’re good friends, but Michael is the one always saying how they have a sibling-like relationship. But that’d be…extremely uncomfortable? I have guy friends both now and in the past that I had sibling-like relationships with and the thought of having to kiss them and grind naked on them really repulses me. I physically shudder at the thought of it. I know it’s their job, they’re professionals, and kudos to them, but they’ve got to be attracted to one another in some way. Otherwise how would they have such great chemistry and sexual tension? Also, Lizzy Caplan has expressed in multiple interviews that she basically does some serious method acting. Like in one she said that it’s weird for her to go to the Masters home, that she felt jealousy filming season 1 when Bill/Virginia split and she wasn’t filming with Michael anymore, and when she talks about Virginia she will say “I will” sometimes rather than “Virginia will”.
I don’t want to say that it’s impossible for a male and female to be just friends, but it’s a completely different thing if you find the other attractive.
(Lizzy Caplan is fucking gorgeous and Michael Sheen is incredibly charming, so that makes him handsome in my eyes).
ALSO, there was an interview with Lizzy Caplan where she said her and one of her exes were best friends for years before they started dating. So maybe that could happen to her and Michael? :)
I’m biased as fuck though.
(sidenote: who wouldn’t want to date Lizzy Caplan though? from all accounts I hear, she’s a huge fucking sweetheart)
It was clear from her actions that they were both crazy about one another in their own, kind of very odd, very utilitarian way. But they were mesmerized by one another, even when they were fighting. Their story, a lot of it has to do with attraction and repulsion. It’s almost like two magnets — they’re both attracted and at times if you flip them around the other way they repel each other. (x)
I might go over there and cry T^T
Because of all the sexy sex scenes MoS has given us this season (Michelle Ashford, I bless you and your children and your children’s children), this is the one that sticks in my head the most. Does anyone mind if I break it down? No? Okay, good…
